Overview
A lifelong Bucks County resident, Jaclyn has served government clients at the federal and local levels for over 20 years. She comes to CGBAG from the Bucks County Law Department where she most recently served as Deputy Solicitor, directing and overseeing County litigation.
In her role as Chief Litigator, Ms. Grieser managed a diverse portfolio of civil cases from complaint to appeal, supervised casework of other litigators within the Department, and managed outside counsel casework. Instrumental in advancing the County’s Affirmative Litigation practice, Jaclyn is a graduate of the Public Rights Project’s Affirmative Litigation Fellowship in March 2024 and Civil Right’s Fellowship in February 2025. Unafraid of contests, Jaclyn spearheaded the first contested civil case to go to trial within the County’s recent memory achieving a fantastic result that saved County taxpayer dollars.
Jaclyn began her legal career in 2005 with the U.S. Army’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps (JAG Corps). She gained extensive courtroom experience through assignments that included serving as Criminal Prosecutor in Germany, Chief of Justice at Fort Leonard Wood, Defense Counsel at West Point, and Senior Defense Counsel in Iraq. Ms. Grieser was also selected as one of the Army's first 13 Special Victim Prosecutors during a period of intense Congressional scrutiny and national media focus on the Department of Defense’s (DoD) handling of sexual assault cases. She testified before the 2013 National Defense Authorization Act’s mandated Response Systems to Adult Sexual Assault Crimes Panel and The Bipartisan Women's Caucus (formerly known as the Congressional Caucus for Women's Issues).In addition, Jaclyn earned an L.L.M. in Trial Advocacy from the JAG Legal Center and School in Charlottesville, VA. Her expertise earned her the Army’s special skill identifier of “Expert Trial Advocate.”
An experienced trainer and speaker, Jaclyn has developed and delivered a wide range of continuing legal education (CLE) courses for the DoD and the County of Bucks, as well as, other government entities, sharing her expertise locally and worldwide and is often a requested speaker on Women Veterans’ issues. Outside the classroom, Ms. Grieser has provided hands-on training in investigative techniques and trial presentation for both criminal and civil matters to countless legal professionals, law enforcement officers, and medical staff.
