Michael Dorfschneider is an Associate Attorney at Clarke Gallagher Barbiero Amuso & Glassman Law, where he focuses his practice on the legal frameworks that govern local communities. Michael advises municipal clients on a wide array of matters, including land development applications, zoning appeals, and the drafting of local ordinances and resolutions. His work is centered on ensuring that governing bodies effectively serve their residents while remaining in strict compliance with the complexities of Pennsylvania’s municipal codes.

This commitment to Pennsylvania’s residents began during law school, where Michael served as an extern with the Pennsylvania Office of General Counsel at the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). This experience provided him with an inside look at the intersection of regulation and local impact—a perspective he brings to every municipal matter he handles today. As a member of the firm’s litigation team, Michael brings a tenacious and detail-oriented approach to representing clients through every phase of the legal process. His foundation in advocacy was established at Delaware Law School, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society.

Outside the office, Michael is an avid sports fan and remains active, competing in local ice and roller hockey leagues. When he isn’t on the rink or following the NHL, NFL, or ATP Tour, he enjoys exploring the Philadelphia suburbs in search of the region’s best coffee shops and hiking spots.
