Overview
Ron represents clients in matters involving municipal law, litigation, zoning, and special education law. Ron returns to CGBAG Law bringing to his practice a strong foundation in public sector law and federal legal processes, drawing from his four years of distinguished service as a Judge Advocate in the United States Army in Europe and Africa. His military service in high-stakes, multidisciplinary environments informs his thorough and strategic approach to legal advocacy.
While stationed in Germany, Ron provided legal counsel to Commanders and General Officers on a broad range of issues including contract and fiscal law, with a focus on government procurement, appropriations, and the lawful expenditure of federal funds. He advised on procurement fraud investigations involving contractors and vendors, ensuring accountability and compliance with federal regulations. Ron’s role often required coordination with allied legal offices and host-nation authorities, providing guidance in cross-border matters and contributing to international training exercises—experience that deepened his understanding of international law, Status of Forces Agreements (SOFAs), and the operational demands of multinational environments.
As a Special Victims’ Counsel (SVC), Ron represented survivors of rape, sexual assault, and domestic violence across the European area of operations providing independent legal advice and advocacy through highly sensitive and complex proceedings including Courts Martial. Further, he also delivered comprehensive legal assistance to service members and their families, advising on estate planning, family law, landlord-tenant disputes, and consumer protection issues.
Ron previously practiced with Miller Turetsky Rule & McLennan and held roles with the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General Bureau of Consumer Protection and SEPTA, gaining extensive experience in public sector legal matters.
In addition to his legal qualifications, Ron is a working Music Director and Organist reflecting a unique combination of analytical rigor and artistic discipline. In his free time, Ron spends time with his wife, Catherine, who is a Judge Advocate stationed out of Ft. Dix, NJ, their son, Peter, and their two obese cats, Lola and Milkshake.
