Overview

Travis is an Attorney at Clarke Gallagher Barbiero Amuso & Glassman, where he advises municipalities, school districts, and other local government entities on a wide range of legal matters. His practice focuses on municipal law, including Right-to-Know Law compliance, tax sale litigation, land use matters, intergovernmental agreements, and general governance issues.

Travis is a Pennsylvania native who has long been drawn to public service and local government work. He enjoys helping municipalities navigate complex legal requirements while remaining responsive to the communities they serve. In his practice, Travis regularly assists Townships and School Districts with public records requests, ordinance interpretation, property and tax-related disputes, and matters arising under Pennsylvania’s Municipalities Planning Code and the Real Estate Tax Sale Law.

One of Travis’s favorite parts of his work is supporting local governments and agencies as they carry out the day-to-day work of serving their communities. He values the role municipal counsel plays in helping public officials make informed decisions and navigate complex requirements. Travis takes quiet pride in work that helps local government run more smoothly and efficiently, and in knowing that those efforts can make everyday interactions with government a little easier for the people it serves.

Travis earned his Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh and his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law, where he developed a strong foundation in legal research, statutory interpretation, and written advocacy. Before joining CGBAG, he gained experience in public policy and campaign work, reinforcing his interest in government, civic engagement, and community-focused lawyering. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.

Outside of work, Travis enjoys history, writing, fossil hunting, and exploring Pennsylvania’s natural and historic sites. He values hard work, dedication, and public service, and brings those principles to his representation of the Firm’s municipal clients.
